How The LIFE Subscriptions Are Helping This Young Marine!

leadership conference

Ober and Machado at Leadership Conference

My wife and I are so proud of our son who is a United States Marine and for his commitment to excellence in all areas of his life! We are so grateful for the LIFE leadership system which has made a huge difference in all of our children’s lives I know without a doubt that if God hadn’t led us to this extraordinary group of people we wouldn’t be where we are today! We always tell our children it doesn’t take much more effort to stand out as a leader in today’s world. I love the book that came down in our system called The Slight Edge. That is exactly what it is, that slight edge everyday of growing and keeping your priorities in focus, in all areas of life- a holistic approach to life! That is one of the many things we love about the LIFE system of 4 cds and a book a month! Read the article below it is a true testament to Gods grace and the LIFE system! Josh is 21!

Subj:  RECOMMENDATION OF CORPORAL OBER, JOSHUA J. 4342/6423 FOR
MERTITORIOUS SERGEANT
(a) GruO 1400.2AEncl:  (1) Meritorious Sergeant Data Sheet
1.  Per the reference, Corporal Ober is eligible and enthusiastically recommended for Meritorious Sergeant.

2.  Enclosures (1) through (9) are submitted as required.

3.  Since Corporal Ober’s assignment to the Avionics Division, he has built a reputation among his peers as a knowledgeable, motivated, and conscientious Marine. He is assigned as the Tool Control Primary Representative, the Foreign Object Damage Primary Representative, as well as the Hazardous Material Alternate Representative for work center 690. He continuously sets the example in everything he does, from physical fitness to MOS proficiency.  His military bearing, personal appearance, and small unit leadership skills have set him apart from his peers. His personal and professional conduct has always set the example for junior Marines to emulate. He out distances his peers with superb initiative and knowledge of his primary MOS. Having no Sergeants in W/C 690, Corporal Ober constantly strives to assume responsibilities and duties normally reserved for a Sergeant. In recent months, Corporal Ober has shown exemplary proficiency as a Quality Assurance Collateral Duty Inspector. He performs his duties with integrity and tenacity. His personal work ethics are of the highest standards and he always strives to become a better Marine. In addition, he is actively involved in the Aerial Observer program with HMHT-302. Corporal Ober is also currently in Black Belt course in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. Outside of work he is associated in a leadership development company called L.I.F.E. (Living Intentionally For Excellence), and receives four CD’s and one book every month in the mail to ensure that he is constantly becoming a more efficient and effective leader. Corporal Ober is the embodiment of the Marine Corps traits of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. It is with the utmost pleasure that I enthusiastically recommend Corporal Ober for Meritorious Sergeant F.YI. Corporal Ober won meritorious board Sergeant  1/12/2012
